Eight pensioners are killed in a Southern Cross Healthcare home between the ninth and twenty fifth of January this year (2009) in what is one of the coldest winters in living memory, because the central heating had been turned off or was not working and the management just let it happen!
The so called Commission for Social Care which is charged with over seeing nursing homes to ensure that atrocities like this don't happen, had given The Crown Nursing Home in Harwell, Oxfordshire, where this horrendous death toll took place,a clean bill of health and a pat on the back last year.

This Commission for Social Care is little more than a sham and an abusers charter. It was set up by the government so as they could run the abuse industry in "care" homes and be the sole arbitrators and definers of " abuse" and so they could effectively cover up for the real abusers who make huge profits from this "care" business. They cover up for the abusers with talk of "monitoring the standards of care" after eight elderly people were left to freeze to death in some of the coldest weather ever! Why weren't they" monitoring the standards of care" and preventing the needless cold blooded killing of these eight people last January?? Where was this stupid Commission for Social Care then when it was needed the most?
What needs to be done is to identify the pack of criminals that allowed this horror to happen and to educate the public as to who they are and see that these people never work with old people again and are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for the brutal killing of these eight people.
The recent Daily Mail online news story about the callous snatching of an elderly lady from her daughter's home by social worker thugs, throwing a blanket over her head and forcing her back into a nursing home is another stark example of the enforced neglect of our old ones that results when these power obsessed control freaks in social services are allowed get their way.
Old people are distressed enough at being away from home and separated from their loved ones and have a real fear of impending death in a nursing home situation and the old lady in the above news story was showing signs of recovery at her daughter's home but this was of no interest to the self opinionated social workers and cops that were called to forcibly drag her back.
The BBC News report re the horrific killing of an 86 year old D-Day veteran at a different nursing home after the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) were alerted to deteriorating standards at the home but decided not to investigate and a man is dead as a result of their incompetence. This is a clear indication that everything is not right with that CSCI outfit and that we should be very wary of trusting them or the government with the care of our old ones.
People need to wake up and understand that dumping their elderly parents in nursing homes and letting the hideous state look after them may not be a good idea, especially with all the pervasive corruption going on in local government and corporate high places with economic criminals receiving huge garguantuan salaries in the nursing home industry while costs are minimised and cut to the bone with the inevitable result of high death rates in "care" homes across the UK and tragically at the Crown Nursing Home.
Earlier this year (2009) Southern Cross Healthcare announced that a "special help line" was to be installed in all their nursing homes so as elderly people could phone out and report abuse. Obviously the "carers" of the old people in Southern Cross Healthcare Nursing Homes aren't caring for the patients in their charge and hence the need for this help line.
This is the culture of death that various Christian
leaders have spoken about, that is endemic in care and
nursing homes and which the British public are so uneasy
about as cited in the BBC poll where the majority of the British public believe that abuse, neglect and mistreatment of elderly people commonly occurs in Nursing Homes and Hospitals, the very places charged by society to care for people in need.
It is totally alien to the culture of life and this culture
Southern Cross Healthcare homes across the UK.
This Sunday Times article says concerning Southern Cross Healthcare that"factors, when combined with higher than normal attrition rates of nursing residents, have resulted in lower than anticipated occupancy levels" and lower profits.
Old people today are simply economic cogs in a very lucrative elder "care" industry run by clusters of corporations in league with government financiers handing out large gobs of public monies as a method for the disposal of old people and our elderly parents.
We have lost a sense of valuing human life as a result.
And this is the case with Kathleen Stenson of The Court Care Centre, Oswestry, Shropshire, where her repeated requests to go home to Ireland, her expressed will and determination to live and be at home and cared for by her son William are denied and repudiated by massive official insanity that says dying is good, it keeps you safe!
This den of vipers must be exposed as Kathleen Stenson has no future if we don't and she deserves a future and she can have a future and live for years more at home, that she doesn't have to be taken out, condemned and euthanised at
that "care" centre in Shropshire.
Brian Stenson (London vet), who condoned and trivialised the savage beatings to Mrs Stenson as "just a slap" & Eamon Stenson (mental patient and perpetrator of the beatings) had the audacity to tell her that it is "for her own good" that Kathleen (photographed below) should die in this "care" home.

No, you cannot trust the state with the lives of your family members be they old or young.

The state seems to think it owns everybody especially the elderly but we are here to tell them otherwise, that we are entitled to have and express strong feelings in particular when our elderly parents are threatened by them and their oppressive state apparatus of control and denial of human rights.
They tell everyone they are doing it "for her own good". But in private they chortle with glee because having such power over the life and death of another individual is the ultimate control freak power trip for these very very sick people.
People like that who support evil like this should understand that what goes around comes around, as you sow so shall you reap and it will be a very bad day for them unless they stop doing their criminal deeds.
There is no difference between them and the barbarian husband of Terry Shiavo who cruelly sanctioned the state execution of this middle aged lady in a similar nursing home in Florida in March 2005. She was deprived of food and water because Mr Shiavo said that his wife "wanted to die". But Mrs Shiavo wanted to live and struggled to live for a full fourteen days without any water or any food before she died in absolute agony.
There is NO DIGNITY IN DEATH . It is criminal wickedness that condemns Kathleen Stenson needlessly to a slow death by euthanasia in a nursing home system in England that is not interested in helping their residents get well because if they got well they'd want to be out and at home or most of them would and there would be no more easy money in it for the home operators.
Kathleen Stenson is a real person that manifests a joy for life and this swirling evil of imprisonment that surrounds her is not triumphing with her or her spirit and fight to be well, to improve and be at home in Ireland. Her desire to be at home, her wish to be free is what is keeping her going. This keeps people alive. Our wishes, hopes and dreams are what keep us going too and we should do everything we can to help Kathleen and send her home.

The 'care" home has a very tried and tested technique now and sends all enquiries to the PR firm.
The PR firm is paid big bucks by Southern Cross Healthcare to tell lies to the general public regarding this case to deflect the fact that the Home is abusing Kathleen Stenson NOW by referring the fact that some members support them. This means that part of the family are supporting what they are doing now and part of the family is not supporting what they are doing now.
But it is irrelevant whether anyone is
supporting what they are doing now because what they're doing now is clear abuse and an infringement of Kathleen Stenson's human rights. They can come up with whatever excuses they want. It doesn't matter who says they think it's a good idea to do what they're doing, whether family or
not!
The public is waking up and is not being
fooled because this abuse of Kathleen
Stenson has nothing to do with family. It's
abuse of Kathleen Stenson by the "care"
home and Southern Cross Healthcare PERIOD
A prisoner in a high security prison has more rights than Kathleen Stenson and we will continue to expose the corruption of these evil control freaks who deny her rights, deny her quality of life and who even at this moment are
shortening her life by forcing Mrs Stenson to remain in their appalling nursing home against her will, by compelling her to stay in bed and by deliberately weakening her in this slow euthanasia system that people are not allowed question or expose.
It has come to our attention that Kathleen
Stenson and her son William are being subject
to abuse at The Court Care Centre, West
Felton, Oswestry in England.
And we have recently learned that on Christmas
2008 at a time when famly and friends can be a great
comfort and support to old people shut away in care
homes, the management of this home called the cops when
William responded to his mother's pleas to be sat out in a
chair.

By all accounts Mrs Stenson was very relieved to have been
taken out of bed by her son and was very happy about it.
The management of this home trot out lies like pre-programmed robots and on this occasion as on so many others when Kathleen Stenson requested to get out of bed, the nursing staff just refused to help point blank.
Any compassionate person, never mind a loving son, would
have responded in the same way and helped the lady get
out of bed.
William found that she is as light as a feather weighing
just eighty four pounds ( six stone), a huge drop from
the one hundred and twenty six pounds she had been.
Apparently her food is presented to her in a most
unappetising way, everything blended together into an ugly
mush and in very small amounts.
As a result of all this the management have denied Kathleen Stenson her right to see her own son and she is now kept in total isolation in her room!
This is an absolute repudiation by Southern
Cross Healthcare of residents' rights in nursing homes.
The management have said they encourage her to get up out of bed but in practice they deny and ignore her requests and pleas to get up out of bed and have a quality of life. When challenged they trot out a pre programmed mantra about doing whatever the resident wants but this is shown time and again not to be the case.
This makes it more likely that she will get depressed in that
room on her own. It makes her want to mix less - and the
less you mix, the more depressed you get.
Your life isn't over until it's over - and you should live each
day to the utmost - why should she be imprisoned in a
lonely bed in a lonely room at The Court Care Centre?
It's more important that she get's more out of life than ever before.
The abuse culture referred to in the BBC poll cited above where the majority of the British public believe that abuse, neglect and mistreatment of elderly people occurs in Nursing Homes and Hospitals and this is borne out by the facts and the rising death rate in Southern Cross Healthcare "care" homes are compelling grounds why Kathleen Stenson should be allowed her freedom to travel home to Ireland.
Why should Kathleen Stenson be condemned to death by being forced to stay in one of their death houses for another minute!
And is it surprising then that the Operations Director of Southern Cross Healthcare, Gaynor Ashton, for the region has confirmed that nobody leaves there alive!
Is this policy or just an observation? In the case of
Kathleen Stenson it certainly seems very much like
policy!
They seem to be following the advice of her General Practitioner who told her son William that because somebody is elderly and frail, it's not in their interests to have any stimulation either physical or
mental and that they should be left in bed all day.
This is a GP condemning someone to an earlier death than
they should have. Shame on him.
There is no physical reason why she shouldn't have
exercise and he's not aware of any and it's just ageism to
say a person is too old for it.
We all get frail if we're lucky enough to live to be eighty
one and older....that's no reason not to have exercise, not to
have stimulation!
Her GP has made his opinion very clear that it's not in her interests to have any stimulation and he is very
wrong.
Unless he's saying that because of a specific condition,
because of a very, very weak heart for example that is just
about to fall apart and the slightest movement would kill the
person and you might argue that it's better not to move
them around but such a situation is very rare and of course it's not the situation with Kathleen Stenson.
In contrast to this ridiculous view of her GP we have
other doctors such as Dr Bill Deagle MD who has said that
"nobody should be written off as a non person" and
"Everybody can improve" and "the body will always heal if
you help it" and "you just can't write people
off and leave them in bed".
So it is clear that her GP view is not in Kathleen
Stenson's best interests.
Why can't she have exercise! Why should she be denied the
right to a quality of life!
She needs exercise, she just can't be abandoned in
that deplorable Court Care Centre.
This is elder abuse and nursing home abuse!
She has said she is there too long and wants to go home to
Ireland and be with her son William and she should be let
go home where she can get better care and better
treatment.
Kathleen Stenson would be given physio and have a better
quality of life in Ireland.
It's wrong what they are doing, to leave somebody in bed
because if they don't get exercise then they are going to get
worse.
They never gave her any physio or even a simple exercise routine in the nearly threeyears she's been there. They are incompetent buffoons.
Kathlleen Stenson is being left in bed. They are not doing
very much to stimulate her. She's not getting exercise, she's
not getting physio. She's not getting anything to even keep
her brain ticking over and this seems to be the advice of her
General Practitioner!
In the absence of any specific physical condition that contra
indicates getting exercise and having
some stimulation in their life then it's surely wrong to say
that people because they're old and frail shouldn't have
stimulation and exercise.
The fact is there simply aren't many reasons why it's not safe for
someone to have exercise. They're just saying she's old and frail and to say that as a blanket thing for everyone that's old and frail, that they're better off just to lie in bed with no stimulation.
You're just encouraging them to die quicker if you do that
and this is slow euthanasia and this is exactly what they are
doing with kathleen Stenson.
It's very well known that anyone, especially anyone in
hospital and spending alot of time in bed needs to have
a special effort made to get them to have exercise and
physio and stimulation in their lives to keep them interested
in living.
This has been made very clear by other doctors
Kathleen Stenson is a clear case of this abuse and is not happy at the Court Care Centre and wants to go home to Ireland and it's time
they let her go and cooperated with her son William so that he can bring her home.
Unfortunately her other son, Brian Stenson is no friend of hers, and has condoned the savage
assaults on Kathleen Stenson perpetrated by the HSE
and Social Services in Ireland as "just a slap",
condoning the assaults as though they were nothing.

(Electro Convulsive Shock Therapy) and by

scheduled flight or by car on the ferry.
Kathleen Stenson says she looks forward to the trip home and
loves travelling. William brought her on
trips to Sligo and many other places in Ireland and
she loved it and the mental stimulation of it.
And if it was really necessary she can travel by air
ambulance equipped with all the latest gadgets and
gizzmos and staffed by a nurse to take her home!
It is a case of quasi kidnapping that her wishes are suppressed and denied by the home.

the helm, he is sitting on shares worth £12m.
The rewards for restructuring the company under
equity and turning it into a successful plc have also
been shared by his fellow board members: Bill
Colvin, the chairman, has £7.1m of shares; John
Murphy, chief operating officer, £11m; and Graham
Sizer, chief financial officer, £8.5m."
It seems these top fat cat bosses of Southern Cross
Healthcare are laughing all the way to the bank
while Kathleen Stenson and others are abused in
